Geraldo Rivera Blames Trump for Inciting the Capitol Riots

‘I wish he had said, you know? I’m sorry for this violence’

RUSH EXCERPT:

RIVERA: “I think the Democrats would sound a lot more righteous and reasonable if they had reacted to the riots and the insurrections of the pass summer with more honesty and more energy. Instead, they turned a blind eye. I agree that the president incited what happened. I am very affected by what he did. Even his statement that people are angry sounded to me more threatening than it did calming. If only the Democrats had played it straight for 3 1/2 years, maybe they’d have a case that people would listen to. Because they pursued this president, they hounded him. It was a witch hunt from the very beginning. They impeached him on that phoney U.K.raine deal. Now when you have a case where an impeachment would seem more logical and more justified by the facts, you have Democrats coming in with dirty hands. I am very disappointed in the president though. I wish he had said, you know? I’m sorry for this violence. I’m sorry for the loss of life. It wasn’t my words that did it. Let him defend himself. But almost brushing over what happened as if it was an annoyance. I feel very disappointed by the president, but he is hounded by a very imperfect pack here, Dana.”
