SCARBOROUGH: "Well, we’ve got some platitudes last night. But, you know, I think let’s underline the fact that Josh Hawley, no platitudes from Josh Hawley. He continued to spread the lies. He continued to spread the conspiracy theories that led to the violence, that undermined American democracy, that led to these acts of sedition, that led to these riots. Yesterday, he’s encouraging these people who he knows have been lied to over the past several years about rigged elections. And over the past several months, it’s intensified. And as his hometown paper, the 'Kansas City Star' wrote yesterday, as much as anybody, as much as Donald Trump, Josh Hawley has blood on his hands and is responsible for the bloodshed in the United States Capitol yesterday.”
