‘Fox & Friends’ Steve Doocy: Democratic National Convention Is ‘Just a TV Show’

‘It’s kind of a telethon where they not only ask you to support Joe Biden, Ainsley, but support him financially as well’

EXCERPT:

DOOCY: "You know, Brian, you were talking about how New York City is pretty much a ghost town right now. Milwaukee was supposed to be where tens of thousands of people would convene. The hotels would be overflowing. The restaurants would be as well. Nothing really going on there because it’s all being done virtually via this you know the various satellite hookups and things like that. A lot of the work has already been done too because it’s just a TV show. For instance the voting to nominate Joe Biden and approve the party platform happened by email and was completed by Saturday. Already done. That part you love to see everybody votes. They have already essentially approved the platform and voted to nominate him already. So really what you’re gonna see on TV for two hours a night although if you’re watching broadcast network you’re only going to see one hour. You will see the world’s biggest Zoom call where the people in the basement of the convention have their fingers crossed hoping there are no technical glitches. But at the same time, it’s kind of a telethon where they not only ask you to support Joe Biden, Ainsley, but support him financially as well.”
