MCENANY: “The President has been briefed on that. He's also been briefed on our own vaccine progress. One thing to note, and I believe Dr. Fauci made this point, our vaccines go through a rigorous phase three clinical trial where we have 30,000 individuals that we test to make sure it’s perfectly healthy in moving forward. So that’s the kind of standard we have for American vaccines and it’s important that we do that. But we do, I think we will have a vaccine by the end of the year, and the President in advance of that is manufacturing hundreds of millions of doses of these vaccines in anticipation of one being successful.”
