Acting CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan: ‘There Is No Systemic Racism in Law Enforcement’

‘I really encourage people to look up that word, systemic racism’

EXCERPT:

MORGAN: "I've been very clear about this, is that — again, I've been in law enforcement almost three decades in this country. And I'm telling your listeners, American people right now, there is no systemic racism in law enforcement. I really encourage people to look up that word, systemic racism. Do we have problems? Yes. Do we need, as I said, to have meaningful dialogue that really leads to meaningful action to get better, to continue to improve the dialogue and the trust that we have in the public we serve? Yes. Those are all legitimate questions, those are all legitimate things that we should be united to come together.”
