JAYAPAL: "And so when Senator Sanders asked me to be the co-chair for the Sanders side of the unity task forces; there are three sanders representatives and five Biden representatives on the task force, many friends of mine on the Biden’s side. And I would say that we did a lot of good work together to really push the vice president’s healthcare platform much further than it’s been before, to take elements of Medicare for all and put it into the platform."
