EXCERPT:

HASNIE: "Hi, Gillian, this is so tragic. The McAllen police chief says that these officers were just trying to do their job, trying to keep the peace and they had no idea what was about to happen next. Let’s show you the two officers who were killed in the line of duty. 45-year-old Edelmiro Garza and 39-year-old Ismael Chavez both shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call Saturday afternoon. When they walked up to the front door, a man opened fire, fatally wounding the two officers. Police say 23-year-old Audon Ignacio Camarillo is the gunman. This is a mugshot from a previous arrest, he killed himself after a shootout with other officers."
