VOGEL: “Yes, sure Jose, this is – this shows really the lingering unease with Hillary Clinton among some key parts of the liberal base, including these major donors who the Clinton campaign is going to need to rely on to be able to raise money and to Super Pac’s and other outside groups that can take unlimited money, that are supporting her because they are expecting on the right some major Republican donors including the Koch brothers and the donors in their network to spent upwards of a billion dollars, probably more than a billion dollars combined when you take in all the outside groups on the right attacking Hillary Clinton. So this really increases the need for Hillary Clinton’s big money allies to be able to raise some serious cash to offset that. What we found in this memo we obtained was that they still believe that there are lingering doubts among these liberals about her that they feel she's not liberal enough on some of their key issues like climate change, like fighting income inequality, like reducing the role of money in politics, ironically, and that they need to really aggressively court these folks to get and to come off the sidelines to a point where they can be relied on to support Hillary’s presidential campaign.”
