Juan Williams Claims He Didn’t See Anyone Without a Mask at George Floyd Protest in Washington, D.C.

‘I think the response to the George Floyd killing was sort of organic and people took to the streets to protest against the inhumanity’

EXCERPT:

WILLIAMS: "I don’t quite see it that way, but I think you’re right to say that. I don’t see too many of the protest leaders cautioning people against coming out because of the virus, Sandra. I think the response to the George Floyd killing was sort of organic and people took to the streets to protest against the inhumanity, against the brutality of it. I was out at one of those rallies in Washington, D.C., and everyone, I didn’t see anyone without a mask and there was an attempt at social distancing until things got very crowded. But I think what you are seeing here is the contrast with what is going to be for the President a planned rally and the fact that the President, even in terms of convention planning, said that he doesn’t want empty seats for the social distancing, and he has refrained from wearing a mask in lots of social situations. I think that is the contrast."
