Karol Markowicz: Protesters Have Exposed the Fact that Rules Around Coronavirus No Longer Make Sense

‘We’ve been told for months that we’re killing grandma if we don’t take these precautions and now these precautions are out the window because the cause is just’

EXCERPT:

EARHARDT: "You said that the leaders are fearful and they have no answers. What makes you believe that?"
MARKOWICZ: "I think they are afraid to say to the protesters, 'We can’t do this,' because they are obviously protected by the First Amendment. I’m fully in support of the protesters in the streets doing what they need to do. It's not about that. It is about the rules no longer make any sense. You know, we have a situation where the beaches in New York, you can’t go swimming, and in California you can go swimming but you can't go to the beach. And as the mayor of Miami, who was on right before me said, their beaches are closed completely. Miami is in the mid-80s this week. Open the beaches, let’s have a pressure release of all the people who have been home for all these months and told what to do and have been following directions and yet still have now release from their leadership to be outside and have a normal life or normal-ish life. At least follow the guidelines for everybody. Either make everybody stay home or let them out."
