Loretta Lynch: ‘It Is a Missed Opportunity’ for Trump Not to Listen the Protesters

‘If the President is going to leave the White House and walk into the area where people are trying to express themselves, it is a missed opportunity not to listen to them’

EXCERPT:

LYNCH: "Well, you know, I’m not sure what went into the decisions there. But I think if the President is going to leave the White House, and walk into the area where people are trying to express themselves, it is a missed opportunity not to listen to them. You don’t have to agree, you don’t have to accept what they’re saying. People are saying loud and clear, 'We want to be heard, we want our governors respond to us, not walk past us and take a picture.' So I think it was a tremendous missed opportunity. Again, I don’t know that we’re into that decision, I don’t think it was helpful at all."
