A cordial CNN debate on the Duggars went a little off the rails when Marc Lamont Hill and Ben Ferguson started arguing about conservatives saying how gays will all go to hell.

Both of them were on the same page about Josh Duggar, though Hill actually thought Ferguson was being a little too hard on the Duggars for covering up the molestation. Ferguson argued, “They put themselves in a moral place to be a light to others and yet, in reality, in their own world, they were covering it up to keep the brand alive.”
