Mich. Secretary of State: ‘The Reality Is in Michigan Every Citizen Has the Right to Vote from Home’

‘Citizens ... can request a ballot be mailed to them’

EXCERPT:

BENSON: "The reality is in Michigan every citizen has a right to vote from home, and so we're going to be spending every moment we can between now and our two statewide elections this year making sure that every citizen, every voter has the ability to do that, to exercise that choice. We're working with our local clerks and various other media outlets to ensure that the education, that voters know exactly how to request their ballot be mailed to them is in place. And the immediate next step is to ensure that citizens know that they can request to vote from home, they can request a ballot be mailed to them by going to michigan.gov/vote where you can see and access the application to have your clerk mail you that application when the time comes.”
