Boehner: Senate-House 'Disconnect' Over NSA Bill (Roll Call)

Speaker John A. Boehner said the Senate must act on the National Security Agency’s expiring bulk data collection program at his weekly news conference Thursday, adding that there is a “disconnect” between the House and the Senate over the House-passed USA Freedom Act to overhaul the NSA’s program.

“I do think that there is a big disconnect in terms of how they view our bill,” Boehner said. “I’ve been surprised by it, but at the end of the day we’ve got to work our way through this issue and I’m confident that at some point we will.”
