John Kerry: ‘Dealing with Climate Change Is in Fact the Future of Our Economy’

‘I say it clearly, addressing climate crisis is not a choice between having a good economy or dealing with climate’

EXCERPT:

KERRY: “The reality is that dealing with climate change is in fact the future of our economy. We sore our economy. We have to shut it down to deal with Coronavirus, now we need to reinvent it in order for the economy, in order to deal with climate. And the reinventing will produce more jobs, better jobs, people will get enormously wealthy of certain technologies and other things we need to do. I think there is a great economic future staring us in the face but not if we just go back and repeat old mistakes and reharness everything the way it was.”
