Guy Benson: Dems ‘Are Trying to Shore up Their Left Flank’ Because Bernie Supporters May Not Vote for Biden

BENSON: "I think the reason that we are seeing this especially from Obama, who's a clever guy and understands politics, they feel confident, the Democrats do, that they are going to lock down almost all of the Hillary Clinton voters. What they are trying to do is shore up their left flank. They believe that Joe Biden will appeal to a certain chunk of the middle that perhaps even Hillary did not but they are scared when they look at some of these numbers that show that the Bernie contingent, a significant number of those voters and people who think the way that they do are either inclined to sit at home and not vote for Joe Biden or even some of them come out and vote for President Trump. So I think that’s the goal here strategically for Barack Obama to say, 'Hey, I’m actually with you. I’m out there on the left, I would have her run a harder left campaign if I could have been 2008. Times have changed. We need you in this tent. Come on in and we will see if it works."
