CRUZ: “As you heard and as you know from everyone around this table, the energy sector has been a huge part of the economic success and boom that we have enjoyed over the last several years. And the combination of the economic harm of the coronavirus crisis combined with the Saudis and Russians waging economic warfare on jobs in this country, it's been a perfect storm in the energy sector. I will tell you, there are a lot of jobs, there are millions of jobs in Texas and across the country that are represented by the men and women around this table and by energy producers and there are small producers throughout Texas, throughout the country who are on the verge of being driven out of business. And so this meeting, I think is important.”
