DeSantis: Florida Infection Stats Suggest Vulnerable Groups Heeding Advice

DESANTIS: "We're also in the executive order reiterating the previous guidance to our senior citizens that if you're 65 and older, or if you're somebody of any age that has a serious underlying medical condition, including things like diabetes, that you need to stay home and you need to avoid contact with folks who may have — who may have the virus. The health outcomes for that group are much worse if they contract the virus than any other groups. This has been something we've stressed from the beginning. The good news is if you look at the infections, it is skewed more younger than it did, say, three weeks ago. And so I think a lot of seniors are heeding the call.”
