Riley Walters: Trump Can Be Tough on Huawei and Keep Negotiating with China

‘As things progress with Huawei they can continue to negotiate with phase two’

EXCERPT:

WALTERS: "I think it is possible. You know, over the last couple of years, as trade talks happened, there was a lot of action taken by the U.S. Government against Huawei and we still managed to get a deal signed last month. So I think as things progress with Huawei, you know, they can continue to negotiate phase two. I think they can be taken in separate lanes. The United States has identified Huawei as a national security concern, so that’s going to continue. And trade deal or not, I mean, the issues with Huawei are going to continue to — continue to unfold whether phase two happens or not."
