President Trump on Michigan Jobs: ‘They’re All Coming Back’

‘They want to be where the action is, the action is in our country and in this state’

TRUMP: “In fact, I was on it, believe it or not, about 10 years ago. I came to Michigan, I was honored by a wonderful group, I was the Man of the Year and I made a speech and it was a little bit controversial, and I didn’t know too much about the car industry, but I did know that you were losing all your jobs, they were leaving, they were going to other countries. And I said, how the hell did you let that happen? But we stopped it. And this deal really stops it. And now they’re all coming back because they want to be where the action is, and the action is in our country and in this state.”

(Cheers and applause)
