Anderson Cooper Knocks Baltimore City Council President for Criticizing the Media

‘I’m not sure what he thinks cameras should be focused on at a time when cars are being destroyed, lit on fire, 15 police officers are being injured and stores being looted’

Anderson Cooper Knocks Baltimore City Council President for Criticizing the Media (Mediaite)

Anderson Cooper went after Baltimore City Council President Bernard C. Young for his criticisms of the media coverage of the escalating violence in that city.

During a press conference earlier Monday evening in which Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake called for a city-wide curfew andknocked the “thugs” who looted and set fire to local stores and police cars, Young criticized the news media for only focusing on the violence, rather than the peaceful protests. Cooper wasn’t having any of it.
