Fox: Clintons Took Millions as Part of Complex Deal To Ship U.S. Uranium to Russia

‘Russia sends uranium to its client state, Iran; so America’s uranium could well be sent to the very nation we’re negotiating with to slow their nuclear capability’

BAIER: "Let's stipulate at the beginning that these stories don't fit on bumper stickers. They take time to explain and unwind, but it does not make them any less explosive. The bottom line is it comes down to tens of millions of dollars donated to the Clinton Foundation and millions of dollars in speaking fees of former President Bill Clinton from foreign governments and businesses that have business or policy issues that would somehow end up in front of Secretary of State Clinton. This is based on the book 'Clinton Cash' by author Peter Schweitzer. We had an exclusive interview with him. There are many stories around the globe here. This first one deals with Kazakhstan and starts with a trip by President Clinton and one of his friends to Kazakhstan. It develops into a uranium deal that explodes and then tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation from one company. Also a big speaking fees to former President Clinton from this. It all ends up with a Russia reset that perhaps is more than anyone bargained for."

BAIER (voice-over): "Consider the stunning case of Kazakhstan and how American uranium ended up in the hands of the Russians."
SCHWEIZER: "On September 6th, 2005, Bill Clinton shows up in Kazakhstan, where Frank Giustra, a Canadian investor, has been trying to get control, to buy a couple uranium mines. He became really partners in a way with Bill Clinton working on philanthropic activities."
GIUSTRA: "I came to him with an idea about creating an initiative to alleviate poverty."
SCHWEIZER: "Furthermore, Frank Giustra has been involved in helping to facilitate speaking engagements for the Clintons."
