Chaffetz: ‘Nobody Bought’ DEA Excuse it Couldn’t Revoke Agents’ Security Clearances

‘If you’re having these sex parties that are funded by the drug cartels, you can’t revoke their security clearances? Give me a break’

KILMEADE: "Chairman, first off, she said, I couldn't fire anyone, what would you want me to do? Should you have given her more power? Should your predecessors have given her more power to fire people?"
CHAFFETZ: "I do think the law needs to change. There is more absolute discretion for the administrator, or one of the leaders in there. But she could have done some other things: a) she could have allowed the inspector general to go in and look deeper. They withheld that. They pushed that back."
KILMEADE: "And that could have been her henchman."
CHAFFETZ: "It could have helped. And the other thing they could have done is revoke security clearances. You can't have a job at the DEA if you don't have security clearance. Same with the Secret Service. So that if you're having these sex parties that are funded by the drug cartels, you tell me you can't revoke their security clearance? Are you kidding me? Nobody bought that."
