BURNS: “Very, very weak claim legally. It is some sleight-of-hand. They were saying it from the beginning which is that we are entitled to our own private political opinions. That is complete rubbish, to use a British phrase. They are at work and working on an investigation involving that subject matter, so if I leave my job, go home and tell my wife either way, my political opinion on the matter is such and such, it can’t be that I’m working on a matter that I can’t do at work with emails from work. They are making it into a very weak claim. It is not going to go anywhere.”
