Rob Smith: Black Americans ‘Understand How They’re Being Condescended to’ by the Left

‘We’ve been seeing Trump polling higher and higher among African American voters’

EXCERPT:

SMITH: "And the thing about it is that, you know, everybody laughs and sort of brush off, and this is — you know, African-Americans and black people on the left, you know, they can give people leeways to do that as well. But people see this stuff going on and people understand how they’re being condescended to, and they understand how they’re being talked down to. Like I said, people may not necessarily wear the MAGA hats, people may not necessarily scream their support for Trump out in the street among African-American communities, but they will show up in that voting booth and vote. And I don't want to talk in hyperbole, I don't think that the Trump Administration is going to get 30, 40, 50 percent of the black vote in 2020. But what people don’t realize that, you know, even if he got 12 to 15 percent of the black vote, that is still historic. Democrats need upwards of 90 percent of the African-American vote to continue to exist as a political party. And if they don’t get that, there’s going to be a reckoning.”
