TOOBIN: “But you could also do two things at once. You could pursue this case while you are — I mean the intelligence committee hearing is next week and probably the week after. You’re going to have hearings before the Judiciary Committee sometime later in December. I don’t know why you give up on these witnesses without even trying to expedite a court hearing. Maybe it is too slow. And maybe they’re too risky. Maybe they think these witnesses will turn on them. I think if you want to know the facts, you would really want to hear in Mulvaney and Bolton.”
