EXCERPT:

BENTLEY: "Firstly, I want to start off by saying that I find it very obviously — it was in a hard situation, World War II, and I don’t want anyone to think I’m being disrespectful in that way whatsoever. However, I will stand by the point that I don’t think it’s — education in the way — you know, there are so many problems going on in the world at the moment, like Brexit, that’s not taught in schools, and climate change which is a situation that I feel like we should be aware of. And, you know, when I left school, I felt like — it hit me like a ton of bricks because I didn’t know anything in general life. I felt like I was going out to the world — I completed my GCSE, I felt like I knew what I was doing in life, but all of a sudden it hit me because I didn’t know how to save for a mortgage. So I feel like instead of focusing so much on our history and holding on to this past, that we can let it go a little bit. I’m not saying get rid of it totally, but let go of it a little bit and replace it with a subject that will be beneficial to us."
