NBC-Denver: ‘Hillary Clinton Has Been Losing Ground in Colorado ... Since February’

‘Every Republican candidate effectively ties her in Colorado’

THOMAS: “This is going to be a close race not just in Colorado but in several other ‘swing states.’ The Quinnipiac University poll looked at Colorado, Iowa and Virginia. It says Hillary Clinton has been losing ground in Colorado and Iowa since another poll in February.

In head-to-head matchups, every Republican candidate effectively ties Clinton in Colorado. And almost all Republicans effectively tie her in Iowa. But in Virginia, Clinton still leads all Republicans, including 47:40 percent over Jeb Bush. In Colorado, Republican Senator Rand Paul gets 44 percent of the predicted vote, while Clinton gets 41 percent.

One issue Colorado voters may have with Clinton: the scandal over her using a personal email account while she was secretary of state. Now, 51 percent of state voters say that issue is important to them.”
