CNN’s Stelter Fails To Mention of the 38 People Cited For Violations in Clinton Email Investigation

‘Right-wing media was going on about this for years, but this to me sounds like a Friday night news dump’

EXCERPT:

STELTER: "Quick question for you. Why is this not getting more airtime? On Friday, the State Department released a report into its probe of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server and found, according to The Washington Post, 'no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.' Right-wing media hysteria was going on about this for years, but this to me feels like a Friday night news dump. Yes, there were some headlines, yes, there were some TV segments, but this feels like a very anti-climactic end to a story that’s been raging for years. The panel is back with me now to discuss that and more. I suppose, you know, Friday night, what can you do? Comes out on a Friday, but I think it’s a job of newsrooms to bring it back up in the days to come, just to make sure everybody sees it."
