COOPER: “Kirsten, that’s what’s interesting about the Rubio, Jim Jordan blunt line about this being a joke, that the president wasn’t serious about asking China, this was kind of tweaking reporters. A, it just — there’s no evidence whatsoever that this was a joke in any form and, in fact, this president does not tell jokes or is not a person who has a — much of a sense of humor or even smiles that much. But even if it was a joke, the joke is predicated on be the notion that it would be so wrong and absurd for the president of the United States to ask China to investigate the Bidens that it couldn’t possibly be real, it has to be a joke, but, I mean, all the evidence points to it being real and, therefore, by their own logic they think that is wrong and inappropriate.”
