Lemon to Lewandowski: Saying It’s OK to Lie to the Media Is Saying It’s OK to Lie to the American People

‘It is through the media that you speak to the American people’

RUSH EXCERPT:

LEMON: “Nothing matters anymore. It doesn’t. You heard his words, blatantly claiming that he has no obligation to be honest with the media, to tell the truth. He said it right there, I have no obligation. He has none to tell the truth. That’s a pretty amazing claim for someone who is considering a Senate run. Think about that. What he’s basically saying is that he is under no obligation to tell you the truth. You know why? Here’s the thing. It is through the media that you speak to the American people. That’s why we report the facts of what you say, so the American people will be informed. So when you say it’s okay to lie to the media, you’re saying it’s okay to lie to Americans. And there’s someone who might agree with Lewandowsky that he has no obligation to be honest with the media, someone who is following his deceitful turn as press secretary, repeatedly lying to the media with a turn on “Dancing with the stars.””
