And many of you have said this and it's so important. We should also then elevate those who never make the headlines. The shootings aren't sensational. They've taken their own lives. They're a toddler who was accidentally killed by a brother or a sister. But in the face of all that, the level of inaction and indifference — and we can't just blame one political party for this. Democrats have had control of every level of power within recent history and it did not avail themselves of it to address these issues."
