White House Press Sec. Stephanie Grisham Roasts Scaramucci in First TV Interview

‘[Scaramucci] seems to have all these people who are going to turn on the president but he can’t name who they are?’

EXCERPT:

BOLLING: "Well we just heard from the former White House communications director why he isn't supporting Trump. Now we're going to hear from the current one. Stephanie Grisham is with us for her first public interview since taking over the role. Stephanie, thank you for being here. Boy, what a way to roll out national news. You just listened to eight and a half minutes of 'The Mooch' really turning on -- on the boss. What's up?"
GRISHAM: "Well, thank you for having me. This is the first, first great interview. I don't know. It's nonsensical to me honestly, and as I said before his feelings just seem to be hurt. This is what I know about Scaramucci. He worked at the White House for 11 days. He's been on TV a lot. He continues to be on TV a lot. He seems to speak for the president and now he says he's speaking for the country. I don't really know what to make of it."
BOLLING: "You know he -- he had mentioned that, towards the end of the interview he said, I'm going to turn on him, he's going to turn on him. Is there any indication that he is gaining any ground, Anthony, with this newfound hatred or dislike of the president? Are other people joining Anthony Scaramucci?"
GRISHAM: "No. I mean -- and that's what I'm saying. He seems to have all of these people who are going to turn on the president, yet he can't name who they are. I think that's pretty important. It's a lot like the anonymous sources that are in the news constantly. So there's no indication that he's right about any of this, and I'm sure that we're going to see that he's just flat wrong for days to come." ‎
