Sanders Swipes at Washington Post Coverage of Him While Railing Against Amazon

‘And then I wonder why The Washington Post — which is owned by Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon — doesn’t write particularly good articles about me’

EXCERPT:

SANDERS: "Top one percent and large profitable corporations — anybody here know how much Amazon paid in Texas last year?
(Crowd chants 'Nothing!')
I talk about that all the time, and then I wonder why 'The Washington Post,' which is owned by Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon, doesn't write particularly good articles about me. I don't know why. I guess maybe there's a connection. Maybe we help raise the minimum wage at Amazon to $15 an hour as well.
(Applause)
Maybe that's why 'The Washington Post' is not endeared to me.”
