WOODRUFF: "The more controversially Trump behaves, the better it is for Joe Biden, because as Democratic primary voters and some independents see him and as they’re reminded of why they dislike him so much and why they're so worried about what another four years of his presidency might mean, some of those candidates who sort of in typical circumstances would want someone who’s more ideologically progressive, going to push the Party to the left, are going to be inclined to say, hold up, maybe we can do that in four years. Right now we need somebody who actually in these head-to-head polls is competing with Trump."
