Sen. Gillibrand: Trump ‘Needs to Take Responsibility for the Hate He Has Spewed’

‘He needs to take responsibility for the hate he has spewed, the division he’s called in America, the racism he’s inspired’

EXCERPT:

GILLIBRAND: "It’s outrageous and absurd, and he needs to take responsibility for the hate he has spewed, the division he’s called in America, the racism he’s inspired. He needs to take responsibility for it. Because let’s be clear about what’s actually happening and be very specific. We have people in this country today, people fueled by hate, hunting other humans on our streets today, with weapons of war. So I agree with my colleagues. What is it going to take for Republicans to stand up to Mitch McConnell and demand that we go back to Washington and vote on these common-sense reforms now? We know exactly what we have to do. We know exactly what would make a difference. We should be doing it right now."
