While many of us were still focused on the takeaways from the Mueller hearings, the people of Puerto Rico took to the streets late last night to celebrate. NBC News is reporting 'crowds in the street which through almost two weeks have been calling for the governor to step down immediately erupted in joyous chants, cheering Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico.' The island, parts of which were decimated by hurricane Maria, and which has been the target of political attacks from Donald Trump, investigated its governor's corruption and signaled that an impeachment could be on the horizon.”
