As Ferrell told David Letterman, once he had hisAlex Trebek costume on, he rushed out to watchSteve Martin’s monologue segment but found himself distracted by one notable Fox News host.

While every other celebrity in the audience was clapping enthusiastically, Ferrell said Bill O’Reilly was sitting stone-faced with his chin resting on his fist. “I don’t know if he got the wrong seating assignment or something, but just a real sourpuss.”

“Really?” Letterman, who has had the pleasure of hosting O’Reilly on his show numerous times, asked. “He seems nothing if not happy-go-lucky.”
