Julian Castro: Trump ‘Tries to Look Tough for a Base that He Thinks Is Going to Vote for Him in Lockstep’ with Citizenship Question

‘He is weak’

CASTRO: "This is like the bully that talks as loudly as he can to try and give an impression that he's tough, and it's nothing. You know, he's weak. This is more evidence of how erratic and weak he is, because he knew from the beginning that he wasn't going to do that, but he tries to look tough for a base that he thinks is going to vote for him in lockstep. I believe that enough people recognize that — that this President is not a leader. You know, he's not fit for that office and this is just one more daily example of that."
