MSNBC: Legal Experts Say Congress Has Authority To Subpoena Hillary’s Private Server

‘... but it would be sort of unprecedented’

SEITZ-WALD: “Trey Gowdy, the Chairman of the House committee investigating Benghazi has said he would like Hillary Clinton testify twice: once on Benghazi and once on the emails. Meanwhile, Jason Chaffetz who chairs the House Oversight Committee has also suggest that he's going to open up a separate inquiry into her emails and whether they violated Federal Record rules. Ultimately, though, I think where this heads is whether they can force Clinton to turn over that private email server that she said is at her home. They might want to do that by subpoena which legal experts have told me they would have the authority to do, but it would be sort of unprecedented.”
