REPORTER: "Nike is pulling this U.S.A.-themed sneaker from store shelves after Colin Kaepernick reportedly complained about its design. The sneaker featured an early version of the American flag created during the American Revolution. It's referred to as the Betsy Ross flag. According to 'The Wall Street Journal' the former NFL player turned activist reached out to Nike when photos of the shoe were posted online saying he and others felt the Betsy Ross flag is an offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery.”
