Rep. Brown: ‘Deplorable Conditions’ at the Border Are Created by the Trump Administration

BROWN: "Look, no one should vote against this, quite frankly. This is not about supporting the border wall and this is not about supporting a more robust I.C.E. or border protection activity. This is about bringing direct relief, medical, food, adequate shelters to children who are in need because of the policies of this administration. You know, as we talk through with all members of the caucus and members of the Republican conference, what we are actually trying to achieve, more and more are beginning to support this effort. This is not about a border wall or more robust I.C.E. enforcement. This is about children who are living in deplorable conditions that we need to address immediately because of this crisis created by the President."
