In S.C., Obama Tells College Students That He Would Not Be President if Not For Them

BARACK OBAMA: "It’s been too long. It has. I’m not going to lie. You know, I love you. I’ve been loving you, it’s just — I have had a lot of stuff to do since I last saw you. But it was wonderful to be backstage, because I got to see so many wonderful people who I worked with back in 2008. If it wasn’t for this great state, the Palmetto state, for all the people at the grassroots level who went door-to-door and talk to folks, that everybody fired up and ready to go. If it hadn’t been for all of you, I might not be president."
