Brigitte Amiri: Ala. Abortion Law ‘Blatantly Unconstitutional’

‘Whether the court takes one of the cases and what they do is another question’

EXCERPT:

AMIRI: "That’s basically where we're at. It’s blatantly unconstitutional. The district court and the court of appeals and all of these places are going to strike down these bans, and then whether the court takes one of the cases and what they do with it is another question. But there are so many other cases already in the pipeline about all the other restrictions that Rebecca is talking about and you have been talking about as well, that could present an opportunity to the Supreme Court to undermine or undo Roe v. Wade. So it’s not just these cases. It's all the other cases in the pipeline."
