Morning Joe: Hillary Spokesman’s Statement on Emails Actually ‘Raises More Questions’

‘This is stupid. You’re insulting us again’

BRZEZINSKI: "Clinton's spokesperson -- we just have this in now -- Nick Merrill in his statement saying in part, "Like secretaries of states before her, she used her own email account when engaging with any department officials. For Government business, she emailed them on their department accounts.'"

SCARBOROUGH: “What? Wait, wait. She went to their -- what? I don't understand. She went to their cubicles and --"

BRZEZINSKI: "She emailed them --" [crosstalk]

SCARBOROUGH: “I know. I'm being sarcastic. I'm being sarcastic. This is stupid."

BRZEZINSKI: "'With every expectation they would be retained.'"

SCARBOROUGH: “You are insulting us again.”

BRZEZINSKI: "I guess in sent items or in the trash?"

SCARBOROUGH: “Where does it go to when it doesn't go to secretary of state?"

BRZEZINSKI: "'When the department asked former secretaries last year for help ensuring their emails were in fact retained, we immediately said yes.'"

HAASS: "That raises more questions." [crosstalk]
