Gov. Larry Hogan Rips RNC, Compares Trump to a Dictator: ‘100% Loyalty to Dear Leader’

‘And not that the Republican National Committee doesn’t have the right to support a sitting president, but to change the rules and to insist 100% loyalty to the dear leader’

EXCERPT:

HOST: "Governor, what do you think of the Republican National Committee passing the resolution earlier this year giving the president undivided support for 2020?"
HOGAN: "I was -- I was pretty critical of that. You know, and not that the Republican National Committee doesn't have the right to support a sitting president, but to change the rules and to insist 100 percent loyalty to the dear leader, it just didn't sound -- it didn't sound very much like the Republican Party that I grew up in, working for Ronald Reagan and supporting, you know, George Bush and -- you know, I'm -- I'm for a return to a more traditional Republican Party.”
