Buttigieg to Trump: Be As Much Transparent As You Can on the Mueller Report

‘If I was advising a president at a moment like this, I would advise being as transparent as you can’

EXCERPT:

BUTTIGIEG: “There was one case where we were being sued as a city. And thee was a lot of misinformation and confusion over why. So we paid to get transcripts of court documents and then we just published them online so everybody could read them and didn’t have to dig them up out of the courtroom themselves. So if we were going to get beat up on something, at least we were getting beat up on something that was factual and that we could explain our choices, admit to anything that could have been done differently and move on. I think that -- you know not that he would ever listen me for advice but if I were advising a president at a moment like this, I would advise being as transparent as you can. And instead it sounds like what they want to do is describe this and then hand it over."
