Sen. Chris Murphy : ‘Trump Campaign Wasn’t Spied on ...We All Know What that Means’

‘The Trump campaign wasn’t spied on. Period’

REPORTER: "I just want to talk to you just about the Democrats’ response to A.G. Barr’s talking about perhaps maybe the Trump campaign was spied on. And I’m just curious if this has more to do with semantics more than anything else, because we know about the FISA warrants and the idea of surveillance. Does this have anything to do with a distinction without a difference, the idea of surveillance versus spying? Can you tell me about that?”
MURPHY: “Well, the Trump campaign wasn’t spied on, period, stop. We all know what that means and that didn’t happen. Thanks.”
