California Democrat Eric Swalwell is the latest to enter a crowded 2020 primary, announcing Monday on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” he’s running for the president. To coincide with the launch of his campaign, Swalwell released a video in which he refers to President Trump’s agenda as “bullsh*t.”

The video features clips of Swalwell speaking in public, on TV, driving, and taking a number of selfies.

“Donald Trump was bold,” Swalwell says at one point while driving through Iowa. “But a lot of what he was bold about was just bullsh*t.”

The video focuses on Swalwell’s push for gun control, and “climate chaos.”

“Most Americans agree that to address climate chaos — to make sure your house doesn't end up under water or on fire — we should do something about it,” he says, “But make sure that we're not pitting workers against their job.”

The video also features members of Swalwell’s family talking up the popular CNN and MSNBC personality.

“He thrives as an underdog,” his wife, Brittany Swalwell, says. “When you give him an obstacle that no one thinks he can overcome, he does.”

“You tell him he can’t do something, he’s going to do it,” his brother, Joshua Swalwell, says.

The announcement concludes with Swalwell unveiling his campaign motto: “Go big, be bold, do good.”
