Scott Walker: ‘I’m Not Going To Comment’ on Whether Obama Loves America

‘He can speak for himself. I’ll tell you, I love America’

QUICK: “Let me ask you very quickly, you were at the dinner last night where Rudy Giuliani spoke. You are sitting just few chairs away when he said, ‘I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.’ What do you think about those comments because they are raining the stir this morning?”
WALKER: “You know I mean the mayor can speak for himself. I’m not going to comment on what the president thinks or not. He can speak for himself as well. I’ll tell you, I love America. And I think there are plenty of people, Democrat, Republican, independent, and in between who love this country. I think we should talk about ways we love this country and that we feel passionately about America, whether it's about making sure everybody succeed in living the American dream or   --”[crosstalk]
SORKIN: “But did you agree with those comments? Were you offended by those comments? What was your reaction when you heard them?”
WALKER: “I’m in New York. I’m used to people saying things that are aggressive out there."
